2 Years of Danchard | St. Augustine Photographer
Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary! The year we became Danchard. We like to make fun of people who mush their names together so we combined our names in the worst place possible to make Danchard. Wow those 2 years have literally flown by. 2 years ago I married my best friend. 1 year ago my best friend and I were on the trip of my dreams in Los Angeles at a Dodgers game. Today my best friend and I are pursuing our dreams of being business owners. Every year we take pictures of ourselves on our anniversary. Last year we were at the Dodgers game when we took the photo.
This year we have something special planned. You'll have to stay tuned to see what the photo will be! Now excuse me while I get sappy for a minute.
What can I say? My life would literally suck without you. You constantly to push me to be the best version of myself. Without you I would not be perusing my dreams of being a photographer and running a business. I remember growing up, mom would say to me, "You're too sensitive, you let the little things get to you. You're going to need to have thicker skin or find some one who's just as sensitive." I'm so blessed to say that you are not only sensitive to my needs, but you challenge me to "be a duck" and just let it roll off my back.
We have gotten into SO many adventures these past 2 years. We went on a cruise, jet setted to Los Angeles, had adventures in Nashville, we practically live at Universal, and we drove from Jacksonville to Los Angeles in 3 days. We have such an exciting life together. We host a GoCo weekly, we have a great community, a lovely home that we use to bless others, 2 successful businesses, and 1 crazy Russian Blue.
Life hasn't always been great. We've gone through 2 deaths, 2 bar exams, a job loss, the loss of a cat, and 1 terrible Twilight movie. But despite it all, we were together and that made all that stuff bearable. God gave me you, Blake Shelton style. We are better together than apart. We pull out the best qualities in one another, and never accept anything less. We are two whole people giving our marriage 100% and we try our best to keep Christ in the center of it all. I'm not going to say you are the man of my dreams because you're not. Scripture says, God can do exceedingly, abundantly, beyond all we can ask or imagine, and Honey Bear you surpass anything I could have asked, or dreamed up. You are God's perfect gift to me.
We are so blessed beyond belief and I am honored I get to share it all with you. A life lived with you on Earth, would never be long enough for me. I am so excited we get to spend eternity together. You are such a spiritual leader for our family. I don't say it often enough, but you are the best running partner for this race. I pray that the rest of our lives are spent running towards Christ. With our eyes fixed on Him, nothing can stop us. I am so excited to see what God holds for us this year. It's going to be amazing.
