All I Want For Christmas Is.....
I learned at a young age that Santa wasn’t real. It was kind of a dramatic way of finding out too. My parents and I always did Christmas at my Nana’s house. My mom’s brother, his wife and my cousin would all come and stay with my grandparents. Now my uncle had a dog, named Buster. He was a huge boxer. And Buster liked to get into everything. I was getting ready for bed and I had laid out my cookies and milk. All ready to go for Santa’s arrival. I went to sleep and woke up half way through the night. I of course ran into the living room to see if Santa had stopped by. I walk in to see Buster had eaten the cookies I left for Santa and was now chewing on one of the Barbie’s I asked Santa for. I was hysterical thinking Santa wasn’t going to come because he wouldn’t have cookies to eat. To make a long story short, my parents had to explain to me that there was no Santa. Instead of making my list for Santa, I can just have a wish list.
First on the wish list is a Canon 85mm 1.2 lens! This beauty would be the perfect companion to my 50mm.
Next on the list is a Canon 430EX II Speedlite E-TTL II I am not a flash photographer. I am a natural light photographer, however; a flash would allow me to increase my shooting time with clients in the evening if I could give them a pop of light. A flash is just a great tool for any photographer to have.
A reflector would be great just to help manipulate the light a little. B&H Photo has a great 5-in-1 reflector that would be awesome to have.
What’s on your Christmas list this year?
