Holiday Minis | St. Augustine Family Photographer
Hey All! I hope your weekend was awesome! Rich and I were able to get a bunch of stuff done around the house which was awesome because we have a BUSY couple of weeks coming up.
I do want to give you all an update on the Christmas Mini Session. If you have not booked your session, now is the time to do so. I am setting a cut off date for shooting. December 18th is the last day I am booking sessions for the 2013 year. I'm setting the 18th as the last day for shooting because this allows me enough time to get your images to you before Christmas. Last year, I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get stuff done before the holiday and it was not fun. So this year I'm setting some boundaries.
I am also working on some exciting new things! For starters the Professional Photographers of America have asked me to do a blog series for the Imaging USA conference! I am beyond excited!!! This is HUGE! I love writing and am so honored they have asked me to blog for them. If you missed my last article I did you can still check it out! The blog series will essentially be a first hand perspective on preparing for IUSA and going to the event itself. Things I learned from the classes, parties that are hosted, etc. I am really looking forward to writing for PPA and it is such an honor to be working with them.
The next piece of news is that I may be participating in Flagler Creates! It is a collective of creative people who come together to sell handmade goods. So how does a photographer fit in? Well I'll be there taking photos of the event and I'll have a booth where I can showcase my work and talk with potential clients about photo sessions. I'm working on setting up another Mini Session idea for those of you who might miss out on the Christmas Minis. Flagler Creates is on the 23rd of November. It's the same weekend of Nights of Lights. So if you all find yourself downtown, make your way to Flagler's campus and find me! I'd love to catch up with each of you.
Now that I've rambled on for a good while I'll leave you all with an image from this weekends photo shoot with the Gilberts! I had such fun with Topher, Heather and the girls. Their mini session was just perfect for them. Be sure to "like" the DBP Facebook page for more current updates!
