HooRag At It Again | St. Augustine Photographer
A while back Hoo-rag contacted me to do a review on one of their rags. Well they have made some adjustments and are back at it again! This time they let me choose which Rag I wanted. You know I was all about their blue chevron print.
I would say that was one of my favorite noticeably different things about Hoo-rag. They have more of a selection catered to women. I don't want to be stereotypical, but I like girly things. I don't want to wear a fish on my clothing. So I was excited to see that they added new designs that were feminine and yet fashionable.
I also really loved that the Hoo-rag was soft and breathable. As a photographer in St. Augustine, it gets HOT and I don't need something trapping in my body heat.
Another great feature about the Hoo-rag is that it is a super stretchy fabric. I don't have to worry about it loosing its elasticity. I wear contacts, but sometimes I wear my glasses to a photo shoot. I had no problem wearing my glasses with the Hoo-rag. Something else that's great about the Hoo-rag is that you can throw it in the washing machine and dryer and not worry about it shrinking or loosing its design.
I will say that I am not a fan of covering my nose or mouth. Just a personal preference. It has nothing to do with the material. Luckily there are so many ways you can wear a Hoo-rag. My favorite ways to wear it was as a hair tie, scarf, and headband. I am in the process of growing my bangs out and the Hoo-rag is SO handy for the process. It holds in those pesky flyaways that aren't long enough to reach a ponytail yet.
I wouldn't wear it as a scarf in the summer, but come this winter, it's on! One way you can use the Hoo-rag as a photographer is if you're in a jam and don't have a lens cleaner, the material is SO soft and works just like a microfiber cleaner. You don't have to worry about scratching your lens. All in all, the Hoo-rag is a great product to have in your camera bag. I am so glad that I can have one handy. Check out Hoo-rag and their sweet line new designs!
Hoo-rag also sent me one of their Dry Bags. I took it with me on my trip to the Smokey Mountains and will be doing a review on that this Wednesday!
