California Photographer | Brookses Go East
On one of my last days in California I went to Crystal Cove State Park. It was a beautiful day and I had a blast at the beach with some food and a good book. The next day Rich was in town and we decided to have a tourist day in downtown LA. We went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art while we were there we saw a part of the Berlin Wall, which was pretty cool. We also got to see the La Brea Tar Pits. We were on our way to the Griffith Observatory and stopped at one of our favorite stores, Amoeba Music. They have the BEST collection of record albums I have ever seen. Rich and I love to go and just look around for hours. This place is huge. After that we tried to go to the Griffith Observatory to see the Hollywood sign, but it was insanely packed. So we did some googling and found a little park that would give us a killer view. For those of you who know me, you know I could have just pitched a tent in the park and would have been happy as a clam. We had a great day in Los Angeles and I am excited Rich and I got to have some quality time together there before we headed out for our trek across the country.
