The Pelchat Family | St. Augustine Family Photographer
I just love this time of the year. I love meeting new families and getting together with ones I have know for years. I have know Shiloh for a while now. She lives in my neighborhood and is on the Homeowners Association Social Committee. This year I had the privilege of photographing her sweet girls at the Mission. One of the many things I admire about Shiloh is that her husband serves in the military. For months on end she raises her 2 girls while her husband serves our country over seas. There is this great inner strength in her that I admire. Shiloh picked out these adorable dresses for the girls and they looked so beautiful. We had a great time running around taking photos. Shiloh really wanted a photo of the girls in front of the little church with the doors closed. While we were there, an employee told us not to close the doors because people come from all over the world to see this church. I tried to explain that it would only be for 30 seconds to get a couple of shots and he just didn't get it. Not to mention this was a sunrise shoot and we were the ONLY PEOPLE in the park. So we walked around and took some more photos and then when he was gone, we went back and nailed the shot. Totally worth it and I would do it all over again if I had to.
